Can DesignMe work alongside our existing team?
Absolutely. Most of our clients already have founders, engineers, marketers or designers internally. We plug into that setup rather than replacing it. Think of us as additional senior capacity your team can call on whenever needed. That’s how we’ve worked with companies including Lightdash, Seamless.AI, Spatial, Datawizz and many others.
Why use DesignMe instead of hiring another designer?

Designme vs other contractors
Managing multiple contractors often means juggling communication and project alignment. At DesignMe, we offer an integrated team with a dedicated project manager, a team lead, a shared vision, ensuring all aspects, from strategy to execution, are handled by our team, saving you time and headaches.
How many people work on my project?
Depends on your needs. A standard subscription gives you access to 1-2 senior designers + PM. Bigger projects = more firepower.
What if I don’t have enough design work every month?
No problem. You can pause your subscription for up to 2 months and resume anytime. Many clients scale up during busy product launches and scale down when things slow. You only pay for what you actually use.
How do requests work?
Add anything you need to your backlog and set the priority. We work through the highest-priority active request first and keep the next tasks queued behind it. Starter supports one active workstream. Immersive+ supports two in parallel. There’s no limit to how much you can keep in the backlog.
How quickly do you deliver?
Most Starter requests move in roughly 24–48 hour cycles, depending on complexity. Immersive+ receives priority capacity and is designed for teams that need multiple streams moving quickly. Large features, websites and brand systems naturally take longer, but you’ll still see work and progress continuously rather than disappearing into a three-week agency black box.
Can I pause the subscription?
Yes. If your roadmap slows down, pause for up to two months and resume when you’re ready. A lot of clients increase capacity around launches, fundraising or major product releases and reduce it afterwards.
How do you communicate and manage work?
We use Notion and Slack. You get a clean Client Portal with all documentation and kanban-like task system. We'll share daily updates, host calls as needed. On larger retainers ($10k+/mo), we can also integrate with your software and team to make the process even smoother.
Who owns the work?
You do. All final Figma files, brand assets, development work and documentation created for you are yours. There’s no proprietary system keeping you locked in.
